NORDFORM FOR KIT MAKERS · MANUFACTURERS & SYSTEM OWNERS
Your building system as a Nordform kit
Nordform is a website where people design buildings. Every design is made from a kit: one manufacturer’s parts, sizes and rules, written down. A design uses the parts and limits recorded in that kit. Your engineer reviews it before manufacture.
Kits are free for everyone to design with. We are working with a few first partners. What exists today.

What we need from you
We write the kit with you, and your engineer signs off the result.
Sizes: spans, heights, module steps and roof shapes, and their limits.
Parts: each with a name, dimensions, material and how it joins to the others.
Rules: which part meets which, at what spacing, with what connection, and what an opening does to the parts around it.
Documents and rights: product names, document versions, material grades, the source of each figure, and an agreement on what we may use and show.
Commercial facts: where you deliver, the notice you need, and a price basis or a way to get a quote. Prices carry the date given and an expiry date.
An engineering owner: a named person at your company who accepts or declines responsibility for what the kit produces, within limits you state.
What you get
A request tied to one version of one design, with its quantities and its change history.
Your kit is available to anyone designing in the regions you deliver to, and only there.
Proposed terms
The kit is free for everyone who designs with it. We earn on the orders it produces.
PROPOSED, 9 SEPTEMBER 2026
1–3% of the order we sent you
Earned on an order you confirm, or a fixed fee per accepted quote if you prefer not to share order values. It applies only to what you supply, not to the whole build. Writing your system down is a one-off job quoted per system, usually €10,000–€30,000. A maintenance fee applies only if your system changes.
FOR FIRST PARTNERS
These are proposed terms. The first partners set the final terms with us.
We earn only when someone accepts an offer you made against a request from the platform. The request, the offer, the acceptance and the design version they point at are the record, and you can see all four.
What we commit to
A kit version never changes. A design points at one exact version.
You can withdraw a version. Designs that used it keep it, with a notice saying what replaced it.
Money never changes a check result or a review.
No exclusivity. Competing kits sit next to yours.
We do not train on your data without your written permission.
A design outside the sizes you stated is refused.
Scope
Nordform makes concept designs from a kit, with quantities, export files and review tied to one version. Production CAD, joint design and permit packages come from your own engineering.
Working today
Versioned kits with their own checks, exports and country notes
Frame generation that gives the same result every time, and concept exports including DXF and IFC 4.3
Quantities, cut lists and estimates carrying a supplier name, a quote date and an expiry
Request and offer records, where an offer prices the exact lines of one request and is refused if it strays outside them
A supplier link: a supplier who is not a Nordform user opens a request from a link and prices it without an account
A customer portal that cancels an offer when the design moves on
An order space for your company: the order’s stage, your people and your customer’s in named roles, what waits on whom, change orders the customer’s project manager approves or declines, and an order mail address that files the drawings your named contacts send as revisions of each document
A private space for each customer under their own logo, where they read drawings, the 3D model and files, answer your questions and discuss them with you
A WikiHouse Skylark 150 wall run, written down from public files under their own licence, with no relationship implied
What a first partner does with us
Writes your system down as a kit, from your own documents, with your engineer
Checks the kit’s quantities and drawings against your real examples until a responsible designer accepts them
Sets the final commercial terms
