How an assignment is priced
Nordform works as an engineering service. You pay for a scoped assignment, not a subscription. The price is agreed before work starts, against a named scope, the reference design it starts from and the deliverables it ends in.
What an assignment includes
- Agreeing the brief. The reference files, the site constraints, what changes and what stays fixed, and what counts as an acceptable delivery.
- Developing the design in Nordform, around the established design you start from, with the assumptions written down where you can see them.
- Review on the same revision. Your team comments on the model itself, and every open question stays tied to the version it was raised on.
- The agreed package, checked against the scope, with any outstanding items recorded and the people who accept it named.
Your team works in Nordform for as long as the assignment runs. The seats your team needs come with the assignment, and your administrators decide who holds one. Nothing is priced per seat, and there are no credits to buy.
Scope
Specialist or engineering sign-off is part of an assignment when the scope names it and names who gives it. Otherwise a design from Nordform is a concept within a kit's stated capabilities, and construction approval, structural certification and manufacturability come from the checks and approval agreed for the assignment.
When the scope changes
A change the agreed scope does not cover is quoted before anyone works on it. You are not invoiced for work you did not agree to.
When the assignment ends
Ending an assignment stops new design runs in the company workspace. It does not take your work away. For 90 days after the assignment ends, everyone on your team can still open the company projects they could open before and export them, and an administrator can download the whole company record. After that, we delete the projects on request: the workspace owner can ask for deletion in the workspace, where it takes effect 30 days later and can be cancelled until then, or email privacy@nordformgroup.com.
