Questions about Nordform
Six questions we are asked before an assignment starts, with the page that holds the detail.
Is a design from Nordform engineered?
No. A design is a concept within a kit's stated capabilities: not construction approval, not structural certification and not a guarantee of manufacturability. The checks say what they checked and what they did not; the scope of an assignment says where engineering comes in.
Who signs?
The qualified professional your assignment names, in their own name, against one saved version with their limitations written in. Sign-off is part of an assignment only when the scope says so, and a changed design needs a fresh signature; the design record shows how that is kept.
What leaves with me?
Your exports: drawings, quantities and CAD files such as IFC, DXF and STEP, each written from a saved version. Which other programs have opened sample files, and what they confirmed, is under what the independent readers verify. When an assignment ends, your team can still open and export the company's projects for 90 days, as the pricing page explains.
What does the model see?
What the request needs: your brief and request, the current design, the context you selected and anything you attach to that request. The privacy policy lists which provider receives what, and when. We do not train or fine-tune any model on your designs, briefs or documents (security).
What does it cost?
Paid work is an engineering assignment, priced against an agreed scope before it starts, with workspace access included. There are no credits or seats to buy; each assignment is quoted against its own scope, as how an assignment is priced explains.
