The starting point
A site layout, equipment, steel frames, cable trays and declared process assumptions. The model connects the physical design to the balance and cost calculation.
The affected work
The CO₂-source input selects a defined branch of the existing kernel. It removes the capture train and associated lines, then recomputes the balance, quantities and estimate.
The engineering decision
A lower reference estimate is one input. The responsible engineer still needs supply quality and availability, equipment specifications, hazard assessment and an agreed design basis.
This demonstrates a bounded change in a supported family. It does not establish arbitrary change-impact detection, process simulation, hydraulic sizing or safety approval.
